One programmer, accountable for every line
Wisfield is the independent practice of Stanislav Kotsev. There are no account managers and no junior staff: the person who scopes your study is the person who writes it, and the person who answers if anything looks wrong.

How a one-person practice stays safe
-
i.
Audited by a firm paid to find mistakes
Every build is audited by an independent firm that did not write it, against a written test plan. The firm is paid for every defect it finds, so its incentive is to look harder, not to sign off.
-
ii.
Documented to convention
Instruments are built to written house conventions and handed over with build notes, so any qualified programmer, including yours, can maintain them.
-
iii.
A capped workload
Only a limited number of builds run at any one time. A full calendar is declared at scoping, never absorbed by cutting verification.
-
iv.
One point of accountability
No hand-offs between sales, project management and programming. If something is wrong, there is exactly one person responsible for putting it right.
If you would rather know exactly who is building your instrument, that is the point.
